A time long ago when the club had local events.

The 20th Year Anniversary Rally Trophy
 
1988 Marked the 20th Birthday and reunion of CTCC members. A celebration bash was held on the shores of Lake Waco.
 
The rally began with a "Direction Rally" which nearly all by that time was acquainted with.
 
Cars were staged and were allowed to leave on timed intervals. Each navigator was issued a set of driving instructions describing the turn by turn route. While navigating the route participant were to also be searching for answers to questions that could only be answered if the correct route had been adhered to. The team that made it back in the least time with the most correct answers won the award.
 
Winning team of the trophy was Ricky Smith and Randy Todd.
 
Once the teams returned to base then the real celebration began with a sleep over which was encouraged as it was known some would be better off there at the party site which was an accurate assumption. Sometimes it is questionable what a sober member would do in public. All learned that night what an intoxicated member will do at a private party. Just ask anyone that was in attendance.
