First Lady President Of CTCC

Simply stated there are not enough good words to say about Lari.
If you knew her you loved her and if you never had the good fortune to meet her you missed a real life experience.
Although not the first lady club officer she was the first to successfully break the traditional all male dominated presidential glass ceiling and was the first CTCC Lady President to help promote more lady Corvette involvement as well as help advance the club others enjoy today. One of the true club pioneers with a wonderful leadership style that all future presidents would do well emulating.
After departing from CTCC Lari advanced within the NCCC ladies drag racing classes and claimed several ladies class NCCC class records. Unknown is whether or not any other lady CTCC member, current or past has equaled or surpassed the same or not.
Lari was very forthright in thought. Unconcerned of having to be politically correct as is today. One never had to question what she thought of any situation. She was brutally honest and unafraid to shake the boat to achieve a goal. VERY unlike today when members are content to witness the ship going down but refrain from wishing to make any waves. Just one of the many admirable traits that made her exceptional. Others included her love of family, generosity, sense of fairness, diligence, sense of competition, sense of humor, her infectious laugh and oh so many other things to love of her.
Under her leadership CTCC flourished. Perhaps one of the finest leaders CTCC ever had.
Perhaps one day the club will find the decency within their hearts to in some way commemorate this outstanding lady and pioneer that she was in breaking the all male Presidential molds and unafraid to question. It is wished that she be REMEMBERED for all that she did to promote the club, the car and club ladies. Lari was NOT just another CTCC member. She was quit exceptional.
CTCC was very blessed to have had her in the club and in our our lives. R.I.P.
